Chapter 21

End Word

THE CONCLUSION FOR MY STORIES is in the future. Historians look at the past so as to evaluate the present. Seers and stargazers look into the future and they might be able to predict outcomes from the serious issues raised by me in my trilogy of events influencing society of today. I cannot. But I do know what ought to happen. As a realist, based on my observations of the calumny of crooked governments, bent cops, thieving lawyers and shoofty hacks at the wailing wall of the Press, I doubt that proper justice will prevail. Looking over the chapters in these three books there are numerous avenues to be taken by officers of the law, be they State or Federal Police, Attorneys General, Public Prosecutors or Judges. But none has stepped forward to take up the cudgel against the crime dominated echelons of the Fifth Estate. Nary a one. I have distributed copies of the books to State and Federal Parliaments. Which representative has stood up for his electorate, the people he represents, to rail against the iniquities and injustices that daily occur and are not even recorded? At least I have set down issues clearly for them to evaluate and act. But nobody has taken a step forward.
