POWER CORRUPTS. This is an undisputed proposition. Power exudes from the very pinnacle of all organizations and the ultimate power resides with the top dog. As the power structure descends, differing kinds of power emanates from lower minions vicariously depending on the top dog as the source of the ‘control’ they exert. Law enforcement agencies have various squads, divisions and sections call them what you like. But wherever there is corruption it will be money that underlies it more than power itself. Therefore, follow the money trail and the corruption it fuels will be visible. Let us therefore examine the sectors found in a State police force and make visible the hidden structures of corruption.
